  115. SOFTWARE SUPPORT FOR REGISTERED USERS
  116. As a member of ASP our shareware products must include reasonable technical 
  117. support, as part of the purchase price, for a minimum of three months 
  118. from the date of registration. 
  119.  
  120. Support during the initial period is offered through several methods.  This
  121. includes post/snail mail, fax and email.    
  122. Email is preferred: abcsoft@islandnet.com
  123.  
  124. As a member of ASP the author must answer questions and fix serious bugs 
  125. during the minimum three month period. For problems involving a specific 
  126. hardware or software environment or feature, the author may choose not to 
  127. modify the program. In that case, if a problem is reported within three months 
  128. after purchase, then the author shall offer to refund the user's purchase 
  129. price. 
  130.  
  131. Any money sent to an author to register an unsupported product shall be 
  132. promptly returned with an explanation that the product in question is no 
  133. longer supported. 
  134.  
  135. Known incompatibility with other software or hardware, and major or 
  136. unusual program limitations has been found to be absent from this product,
  137. as far as testing to date can determine.
  138.  
  139. TECHNICAL SUPPORT
  140. Registered users are entitled to three months of technical support for this 
  141. product, commencing from the date of receipt of registration and full payment 
  142. thereof.  Methods of contacting ABC Software for technical support are 
  143. detailed in the Contact Information Section, below.

  145. OMBUDSMAN STATEMENT
  146. The ASP Board has set up an office of Ombudsman and appointed an ASP 
  147. member as Ombudsman. The Ombudsman's sole role is to mediate disputes 
  148. between ASP members and their customers. The Ombudsman reports to the 
  149. Board situations where s/he feels Board action or knowledge is 
  150. appropriate.

  152. All ASP Members and Associate Members are required to cooperate with the 
  153. Ombudsman when so requested.

  168. This program is a shareware release.  It is designed and marketed as a DOS 
  169. standalone program but appears to run fine when launched from Windows 3.1.
